Warden AI secures funding to meet surging demand for AI audits

AI auditing platform Warden AI has raised new funding round led by the founders of Onfido, the digital identity verification company acquired by Entrust in 2024. The round also includes participation from Playfair, a leading early-stage VC firm, and will support Warden's geographic expansion and product development.

Opper AI launches with $3 million pre-seed funding

Opper AI has announced the launch of its Task Completion API, backed by an oversubscribed $3 million pre-seed round. The API is designed to help developers move beyond one-off prompts and fragile prototypes, providing a structured and dependable path to launching AI-powered features in production environments.

The funding round includes backing from Luminar Ventures, Emblem Venture Capital (backers of one of the fastest growing AI startups in Europe - Loveable), Greens Capital, and several prominent angel investors. The Opper founding team - Göran Sandahl, Johan Gustafsson, and engineers from the Unomaly core team - bring more than 50 combined years of experience building automated, production-grade systems.

FSE backs JammJar to launch AI mortgage platform

Startup JammJar is coming out of stealth with a platform designed to overhaul how mortgage brokers operate—by eliminating the admin that slows them down. With backing from early-stage investors Haatch and the British Business Bank’s South West Investment Fund via fund manager The FSE Group, the company is launching publicly with a goal to become the Al operating system for the UK's mortgage advice industry.

Embedl raises €5.5m to maximise the efficiency of AI

Sweden: Swedish deeptech company Embedl has raised €5.5 million in a pre-series A funding round from Chalmers Ventures, Fairpoint Capital, SEB Greentech, Spintop Ventures, and angel network STOAF. After spinning out from Chalmers University of Technology, and kicking off commercial operations in 2022, Embedl has helped innovative startups and some of the world's largest corporates, such as Kodiak Robotics and Bosch to optimize their products' AI inference efficiency. With the new funding, Embedl will accelerate the commercialisation and launch of its SaaS platform, the Embedl Hub.

They were joined by Daphni, Motier Ventures, Booom and Puzzle Ventures, as well as leading angels including Datadog CEO, Olivier Pomel and Hugging Face CTO, Julien Chaumond. Founded in 2024, the tech is already being embraced by Fortune500 companies.
