Riva Money has raised $3 million in pre-seed funding led by Project A and supported by experienced angel investors from companies including Revolut, Ebury, Monzo, and J.P. Morgan.

Riva's mission is to fix what's broken in global payments. Despite huge advances in consumer fintech, cross-border business payments are still slow, expensive, and opaque. Transfers can take days and often involve high fees, poor exchange rates, and little transparency. 

TILKI has successfully completed a $2.2M pre-seed funding round, led by specialist first-cheque AI fund Twin Path Ventures and with participation from Atlas SGR, XTX Ventures, and SFC Capital.

TILKI empowers all creators-from imaginative children to accomplished novel writers and professional game designers-to craft immersive and evolving game worlds without the constraints of traditional coding. TILKI-created games are constructed in real-time and designed around players' choices.

WiseBee, a cybersecurity startup building an on-demand, autonomous security team that monitors, detects, and neutralises threats, has raised $2.5 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate development and deployment of its Agentic cyber risk mitigation platform. The round was led by Frontline Ventures and BrightCap Venture with participation from angels with experience at SecurityScorecard, AWS, and Deloitte.

Ciqurix, an innovative company that has created a revolutionary video flame detection system, has received investment from four Henley Business Angels members, contributing towards a funding round of £625k. In addition to the angel investments, Ciqurix received £500k of investment from Midwich Plc, via their investment arm Midwich Ignite. This level of commitment from an industry heavyweight is not only hugely beneficial from a capital perspective but also a clear message of product and market validation from a public company.

Devon-based AI powered sales outreach platform, Sendr, has secured a £250,000 equity investment from the British Business Bank's South West Investment Fund via appointed fund manager, The FSE Group. The investment forms part of a wider funding round aimed at accelerating further product development and market expansion.

Founded in 2023 by Dave Cannell and John Bromley, Sendr is a cutting-edge platform that transforms traditional mass email marketing. Head-quartered in Exeter, Sendr creates personalised, short-form video content powered by advanced AI tools, allowing businesses to engage clients more effectively. The company has quickly gained traction, securing partnerships with prestigious organisations including the Financial Times.

Belfast-based tech company Fluid Focus has secured £640,000 in investment from Co-Fund III and a network of business angels across the UK and Europe, to grow its team, enhance its core product and expand in new markets, beginning with the United States.

London-based cyber risk management firm DynaRisk has announced a $4.7million funding round led by YFM Equity Partners (YFM) 

The British Business Bank has made its first investment through the Regional Angels Programme new co-investment platform.  JECO, an automated toolset provider, designed specifically for video games software developers and digital creatives looking to streamline their development processes and future-proof their products has secured $1.3m / £960,000 in growth funding. The deal was led by Games Angels, with British Business Bank participating in the round.

PetProov, a Chorley-based startup which uses anti-fraud technology to combat illegal and unethical practices within the pet sector, has recently closed a six-figure angel investment round.  The final five-figure investment came from a sole angel investor, James Butcher, a serial entrepreneur and business consultant based in the north west. James is also one of Lancashire's Fhunded Angels, a community of private investors looking specifically for early-stage and high growth investment opportunities in the county.

UK payments startup yetipay has raised £3.5 million to continue the expansion of its all-in-one payments platform and introduce new products to its growing base of independent and enterprise hospitality and retail customers, including Brewdog, Pho, Grasso Soho, Kütchenhaus and Zenith.

Bulgaria: Paypercut has secured €2 million in pre-seed funding to simplify Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) for small businesses across Central and Eastern Europe.

Chorus, the provider of innovative digital training solutions for frontline workers, has raised £710,000 funding co-led by Ufi Ventures, the UK's specialist investor in adult EdTech, and Haatch, a prominent early-stage venture fund with additional investment secured from the Stakeholderz Syndicate angel group.
