Primary school children throughout the UK are being inspired to develop their enterprise skills with the help of a syndicate of 15 business angels who have completed a £400,000 investment in 2B Enterprising headquartered in Swansea, South Wales.

Award-winning medtech firm, Glyconics© has secured £1.5million in an Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) funding round ahead of a series A round next year. The innovative diagnostics startup, with offices in Cambridge, Norwich and Basingstoke, raised well over the intended £850k in a raise led by investment platform Wealth Club and existing investors, Deepbridge Capital and Boundary Capital. Pixie, a UK-based startup creating a simpler approach to practice management and workflow automation for small accounting and bookkeeping firms, has raised £2.25 million in a seed funding round led by Triple Point Ventures, with the participation of Seedcamp, MMC Ventures, and serial entrepreneurs and angel investors including Duane Jackson (Kashflow, Staffology), Will Neale and Chris Adelsbach.

British Business Investments, a commercial subsidiary of the British Business Bank, has announced a new £5m commitment to green economy investor, Green Angel Syndicate, to support early-stage UK businesses operating in the green technology sector.

After an impressive pitch to the Anglia Capital Group Angels, Fox Robotics successfully received investment to help them fill their round of £750,000 alongside other investors. This is ACG’s 8th investment into local businesses so far in 2021, with several awaiting round closure, cementing their commitment to growing opportunities for companies within East Anglia.
