On 3rd March, Oxford Capital launched a new EIS, investing in the UK creative sector. The Oxford Capital Media EIS aims to achieve a tax-free return of up to 120% after four years, plus income tax relief of 30% of the amount invested.

Two thirds (65%) of small and medium-sized tech and telecom firms plan to grow dramatically or moderately over the next two years, according to a new report* launched by Albion Ventures, one of the largest independent venture capital investors in the UK. Only 7% think they will shrink or wind down.

Rokk3r Labs has launched its first major fund: Rokk3r Fuel, a global $150M fund that will invest capital into early stage ideas that go through the Rokk3r Labs platform. Rokk3r Fuel will also invest in exponential companies at large, and make selective investments in growth and exit rounds.

Jellynote, an AI powered Music Edtech Platform, has secured $800K to drive user acquisition and production of exclusive Artist Masterclasses. The latest round is led by Danish Fund Nordic Eye with participation of existing investor Partech Ventures and Jellynote's CEO Martijn Tjho.

LivingLens, a software provider of video mining and analytics technologies, has announced a further £1.3m in funding. Participating in the round is the Angel CoFund, angel investors from LivingLens’ 2014 involvement in the Collider Accelerator programme, plus further angels including successful marketeers and ex-city financiers.
