Enlaps raises €3 million to boost up its development

Enlaps, the inventor of the Tikee timelapse solution, has announced that it has closed a funding round of €3 millions from business angels including Fabien Pierlot, founder and CEO of Coyote, Jiong Ma, Senior Partner at Braemar, Charles Matine, ex-Apple and from banking institutions such as BPI, BNP Paribas and Caisse d’Epargne.  This financing will allow the Grenoble-based start-up founded in 2015 and recognized in 2016 by an Innovation Award at CES in Las Vegas, to speed up its development and to continue to provide its solutions to a wider range of customers from professional users to individuals with a passion for photography.

Trukkin raises a $3.5M Series A funding round

As “on demand” services expand into more industries and market places,Trukkin is leading the way in digital logistics solutions for long-haul trucking.  Launched in 2017, Trukkin is a techno-logistics firm based in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates operating throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and beyond. The company works to innovate and simplify logistics and land transportation. Trukkin has raised over $3.5 million in the recent funding round, which included marquee investors from the AL-Namlah Family Group, the Al-Madi Family Group, and the Abanumay Family Group. Batic Investments and Logistics, a publicly listed company on Tadawul, remains as one of the key investors in the start-up.

YFM backs elearning specialist Elucidat with £3.5m investment

YFM Equity Partners has invested £3.5 million in in Elucidat Limited, an elearning software business.  The investment from YFM’s advised funds will be used to accelerate product development so that Elucidat’s customers can produce learning content faster and at a higher quality. The funds will also be used to invest in their team and drive growth in North America, which currently accounts for 35% of Elucidat’s revenue.

Triple Point leads VCT investment in Augnet

Triple Point Venture Fund has led a £1.3m investment in UK-based messaging company Augnet Limited (“Augnet”). Triple Point invests alongside a number of industry experts. The funds will be used by Augnet to further develop the platform, support the testing stage and invest in its sales and marketing channels.

Immense Simulations, the intelligent mobility software provider, has announced that it has secured $4.6m in Series A funding. The investment will aid the continued growth and development of its AI-driven ‘Simulation as a Service’ platform, which is disrupting traditional transportation modelling.

Blu Wireless raises $16.6 million in growth funding

Blu Wireless has raised £12.7m ($16.6m) in a growth funding round led by existing investors Arm, Calculus Capital, Kendall and MGL, and including major new investor Guinness Asset Management. The investment will be used to scale the worldwide deployment of devices exploiting Blu Wireless’s HYDRA mmWave technology across a range of 5G applications.  Blu Wireless is already working with tier-1 telecoms infrastructure providers and leading semiconductor companies in the US, Japan, the UK and mainland Europe as they look to deploy HYDRA based devices within applications demanding 5G levels of bandwidth and low latency connectivity.

Calculus invests £2.5m in management software company Wazoku

Calculus Capital hahs mamde a £2.5m investment in Wazoku. Wazoku’s main product is Idea Spotlight, an idea management platform used by enterprise clients including the UK Ministry of Defence, John Lewis & Partners, HSBC, and Aviva. The goal of the platform is to capture, evaluate, improve and implement ideas from across any audience, whether that’s employees, customers, partners, the general public or another group of stakeholders altogether.

NPIF - Maven Equity Finance leads £250,000 investment in Digital Training Solutions

NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, managed by Maven Capital Partners and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund has invested in Bolton-based eLearning company, Digital Training Solutions.

A total of £125,000 was invested from NPIF – Maven Equity Finance with a further £125,000 invested by the Angel investment division of The Growth Company, GC Angels. The funding will enable the business to continue to develop its software, support its marketing strategy and create up to 17 new jobs over the next two years.
