The round announced includes participation from Plassa Capital and prominent venture capital and angel investors across Europe, Asia and the U.S. as well as senior executives from the U.K. Asset Management industry.

Additional funding was provided by A100x Ventures and several prominent angel investors, including Matthew Niemerg and Antoni Zolciak, co-founders of Aleph Zero. Gatenox is the Anti-money Laundering and Sanctions solution for corporate onboarding that starts with the customer.

Angels from HBAN Singapore and HBAN Bloom Equity syndicate invested €405K in the business, with other investments coming from DeepIE Ventures Management Company Ltd and Enterprise Ireland High Potential Start-Ups Funding.

Sharesy has since extended the fundraise to £1.5m, thus making a further £550k available to oversubscribe the round.
The company is currently operating in the North London area but has plans to expand rapidly across the UK and even internationally, with an estimated £1.6b untapped market for venue-hire in community spaces. Using the investment, Sharesy plans to continue supporting its London growth with a focus on scaling the team and developing the online platform to further support the customer experience.
