HBAN-backed CropBiome receives €1.3M investment

HBAN (Halo Business Angel Network), the all-island organisation responsible for the promotion of business angel investment, and a joint initiative of Enterprise Ireland, InterTradeIreland and Invest Northern Ireland, today announces that HBAN angels have participated in an oversubscribed €1.3M funding round in agri-tech start-up, CropBiome. Angels from HBAN Singapore and HBAN Bloom Equity syndicate invested €405K in the business, with other investments coming from DeepIE Ventures Management Company Ltd and Enterprise Ireland High Potential Start-Ups Funding.

SithSwap, a next-generation automated market maker (AMM) on StarkNet, has successfully raised $2.65 million at a $25 million valuation in a seed funding round led by Lemniscap, with participation from Big Brain Holdings, GSR, DWeb3 Capital, Ghaf Capital Partners, as well as angel investors Anthony Beaumont and Etienne Royole.

Sharesy receives investment from Henley Business Angels

Sharesy, an organisation revolutionising the venue-hire marketplace platform for community spaces, has received investment from Henley Business Angels contributing towards a funding round of £950k. Sharesy has since extended the fundraise to £1.5m, thus making a further £550k available to oversubscribe the round.

The company is currently operating in the North London area but has plans to expand rapidly across the UK and even internationally, with an estimated £1.6b untapped market for venue-hire in community spaces. Using the investment, Sharesy plans to continue supporting its London growth with a focus on scaling the team and developing the online platform to further support the customer experience.
