Matillion, the makers of cloud data integration tools Matillion ETL for Amazon Redshift, Matillion ETL for Snowflake and Matillion ETL for Google BigQuery, today announced it has closed a $20 million Series B round of funding led by Sapphire Ventures, existing investor Funds advised and managed by YFM Equity Partners, the specialist UK-based private equity fund manager and new investor Scale Venture Partners. The funding will accelerate the Company’s leadership in the cloud data integration category.

Mobeus Equity Partners has led a £3.8 million funding round for SuperCarers, an online platform that’s addressing the acute UK care crisis. SuperCarers connects people seeking at-home care with experienced, independent carers. Mobeus provided £2.1 million of development capital, alongside other investors, including JamJar Investments and Seneca Partners.

YFM Equity Partners has backed an investment into Ncam Technologies Limited, a provider of innovative and leading Augmented Reality solutions for the entertainment industries.

Ncam was founded in 2012 by Nic Hatch (CEO), Sam Boivin (CTO) and Brice Michoud (Senior R&D Engineer) to develop a unique augmented reality solution which combines patented camera tracking hardware that fuses data from multiple sources with proprietary software to adapt the application to its target markets.  

NVM has led a £5 million growth capital minority investment into Manchester-based Currentbody, an online retailer for home-use beauty devices. Having achieved exceptional sales growth in the last year, the investment will help support its next phase of expansion, allowing the company to accelerate its strategic initiatives and support working capital requirements. 

Co-Founded by Laurence Newman and Andrew Showman, CURRENTBODY.com is the only website specialising in beauty devices for home use.

NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, managed by Maven Capital Partners, one of the UK’s most active SME investors, is pleased to announce an investment of £250,000 in tech company GradTouch Limited, a platform that connects graduates and employers, offering a cost-effective, unique solution for attracting, vetting and hiring graduates.

The investment, made on behalf of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF), will increase the number of jobs by 50% in GradTouch’s Manchester office and will further support the company’s growth plans.
