The growth funding will be used to invest in people and technology to service new contracts, enable new product development and ensure scalable and robust growth from its strong pipeline. The company, founded by NHS consultant Dr Bahman Nedjat-Shokouhi - who still works in the NHS - has been recognised as one of the top 100 most exciting digital health companies in the UK, by the DTI.

The round was led by Seraphim Capital, the world’s first venture fund dedicated to SpaceTech, Vaekstfonden, the Danish state’s investment fund, and Angel Investor, Helge Munk.

The fund is now targeting a final amount in excess of €120 million. Yotta Smart Industry will focus on French industrial SMEs to assist them in their transition towards the 4th Industrial Revolution megatrend, becoming more competitive, more international and more carbon efficient.

Utility Stream provides companies with simplified and sustainable energy solutions. The new funds will allow the firm to create a number of roles for business consultants and account managers in Warwickshire and nationally.
