Green Angel Syndicate investee company Rovco raises £5m

Subsea technology firm, Rovco, has completed a £3.9 million Series A investment from Foresight group via the Foresight Williams Technology EIS Fund and Foresight VCTs. The investment was part of a larger round totalling £5 million which included funds from existing shareholders including Green Angel Syndicate. 

The funds will be used to support its international expansion and Rovco’s continued development of its state-of-the-art 3D Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence subsea technology.

Parkwalk launches new HMRC-approved EIS fund targeting knowledge intensive businesses

Parkwalk has launched one of the first HMRC Approved Knowledge Intensive EIS Funds to open to retail investors, offering an opportunity to invest in ground-breaking deeptech businesses spun out of UK universities, but with a facility to carry back income tax relief to the previous tax year and reduced admin for investors. Launching in early January 2021, the Fund will close at the end of the tax year in April 2021.

Seneca Partners' 21st exit returns £2.8m to investors

Seneca Partners EIS Portfolio Service has returned £2.8million to investors following the takeover of Collagen Solutions Plc, an AIM listed holding specialising in medical grade collagen components.  The exit has been achieved three and a half years after Seneca’s investment into Collagen and brings the total number of full or partial exits within the EIS portfolio to 21.

Ingenious invests in Igloo Vision

Ingenious has invested £787,000 in Igloo Vision, the Shropshire-based immersive software and technology company that can take any digital content and put it into a shared immersive space. The funding will be used to continue the build-out of Igloo’s software suite and accelerate the production of its recently launched Igloo Immersive Media Player.
