Oxford Medical Simulation (OMS), a provider of highly realistic virtual reality healthcare training, has raised a further £2.1 million in a funding round that included ACF Investors and angel investor Dr Nicolaus Henke, former chairman of Quantum Black and former head of McKinsey’s global healthcare practice.

New insurtech Peachy has raised $1.6m seed round from a number of angel investors from the insurance world, reflecting both the strength of Peachy’s radical new approach as the change that is needed and the quality of the business that has been built to deliver it.  The company's mission to radically improve financial inclusion in private healthcare has received a $1.6m boost from an impressive list of former executives of the insurance world who believe radical change is necessary and that Peachy is the answer. 

Hedgehog, the fractional investing app making real-world investments accessible to a wider audience, has completed its crowdfunding round on Seedrs ahead of schedule. The round overfunded by more than 50% to hit a total of £1.56 million from close to 400 individual investors, including a number of angel investors, from 27 different countries, with the majority of capital coming from those working within private markets.

Smart Kiwi, the data intelligence platform for shared mobility companies, has raised £250k in a pre-seed round led by SFC Capital, the UK’s most active seed-stage investor. Additional investors include Plug & Play and Startup Wise Guys. Smart Kiwi will use the funding to grow the team and further develop their technology.

Manchester based Versori has been funded by world-famous accelerator Y-Combinator for it's Integration, automation and data transformation platform, Switchboard.

Enhanc3D Genomics, a functional genomics company unlocking the full potential of the human 3D genome to transform therapeutic development, has raised £10 million in Series A financing to accelerate the development of its proprietary technology platform – GenLink3D [TM]. The financing was led by BGF and Parkwalk Advisors, with support from existing private investors and Bioqube Ventures.
