HR platform built for remote working raises further £1.3m

 

An HR software platform which helps companies to manage remote workers has raised a further £1,275,000 to fund its rapid expansion.  StaffCircle has secured a further £1m from Blackfinch Investments, with the additional funding coming from the MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund, which is managed by Mercia and part of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, and private investors.

CareLineLive secures £1.2 million funding

CareLineLive, the homecare management software that increases efficiency, capacity, compliance and communication between managers and carers by digitising their workflows, has announced that it has fundraised £1.2 million to support its national and international expansion. The investment, led by Haatch Ventures, will see CareLineLive’s headcount continue to grow, with a 30% headcount increase already seen since September 2020. Alongside this, the investment will accelerate CareLineLive’s expansion into international markets, with 10% of its customers currently outside the UK, including recent client wins in Australia, Malta and Zimbabwe.

Deepbridge achieves record EIS fundraising levels

 

Venture capital investment manager Deepbridge Capital has seen a record year of Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) fundraising, with £29.4 million deployed across 37 growth companies. This represents an increase from 2019/20 and 2018/19 in which £21 million and £28 million were deployed respectively.  Deepbridge manages the Deepbridge Technology Growth EIS and the Deepbridge Life Sciences EIS.

Foresight Group, a leading private equity and infrastructure investment manager listed on the London Stock Exchange, has announced an equity investment into Beckett Investment Management Group Limited, a Chartered Financial Planner and leading regional provider of financial, wealth management and employee benefits advice to private clients and companies, primarily in East Anglia.
