It's August, holiday season, things traditionally shut down for August but this year it feels a little different. Many of us are on staycation, some trying to keep the kids occupied after rushing back from Spain and, more latterly, France. Others will be quickly organising a last minute trip to Portugal. Still it should still be a time to play, to think about the past year and recharge the batteries ready for Autumn.

Start-up’s contract law game fuels AI learning following Covid lockdown

An online game developed by a start-up business in response to the recent Covid-19 lockdown is now being used to train the Artificial Intelligence (AI) component of its new legal contract management system.  ContrAI is a modular, web-first product that uses AI to aid contract management and analysis. The contract processing required to train the ContrAI system was due to enter its second phase from May this year following the initial categorisation process at the end of last year.

Save our teeth! Floe set to disrupt dental industry

According to research1 released by dental health startup Floe Oral Care, the majority of Brits haven’t been keeping their teeth in good order during lockdown. Only one in eight (12%) have been brushing their teeth twice daily, the recommended routine by dental clinicians, Almost half (44%) have been doing it just once a day and 18% admitted to not brushing their teeth on a daily basis.
