- 0 commentsProcess Mining software provider Minit has raised €7 million in a Series A funding round, led by Target Global, with participation from Salesforce Ventures and existing investors, Earlybird’s Digital East Fund and OTB Ventures. The funding will facilitate further product development and expansion into new markets, including the US. Founded in 2017, Minit builds intuitive Process Mining software that gives its enterprise customers insight into complex processes - like order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, customer journey or service delivery – and more importantly how these can be improved.

- 0 commentsIngenious's Infrastructure Ventures EIS Service has invested in Winnow, the technology company behind Winnow Vision, the artificial intelligence tool helping chefs cut food waste in half, as it completes its series B round of funding at $12m. Other co-investors in this fund raising round include Ingka Investments, Mustard Seed, Circularity Capital, D-Ax in addition to Ingenious. This follows a recent loan from The European Investment Bank (EIB) and in total means the firm has raised $20m in the last month, allowing it to focus on global markets.

AI and the Services Revolution reveals that investments in marketing-related AI have grown steadily, with $2.5bn of investments in emerging companies in 2018 – and $1 billion invested in Q2 2019 alone. A total of $11bn has been invested in the sector since 2014.

The £3 million donation has been made by Clive Gillmore, founder and Group CEO of Mondrian Investment Partners and an alumnus of the University of Warwick.
The Gillmore Centre for Financial Technology will be housed at Warwick Business School and will bring together the school’s existing research in the area along with a host of new appointments.
