RHEON Labs raises £7m Series A equity capital via LGB Corporate Finance

LGB Corporate Finance, which provides M&A advisory and capital raising services to companies, entrepreneurs and financial sponsors, has raised £7m for RHEON Labs in an over-subscribed Series A equity capital raise. The funding will enable the accelerated commercialisation of RHEON Labs’ patented technology in Europe and North America, where it is experiencing strong growth as its technology becomes recognised as the global standard for impact resistance and energy control.

IGF client funds in use hit £100 million

Independent Growth Finance (IGF) has achieved £100 million client funds in use through fundingUK SMEs. The company’s audited 2018/19 accounts show a 39 percent growth in funding provision, as compared to FY17/18, highlighting the continued drive by the independent asset based lender to support the growth aspirations of UK businesses despite an unsettled economy.

European outbound M&A activity sees highest quarterly value since 4Q17

Mergermarket, the leading provider of M&A data and intelligence, has published its 2Q19 report that shows a reluctance among companies to acquire within Europe. Confidence among corporates to invest heavily across the continent has been replaced/spurred by political and economic uncertainty. Just USD 391bn was spent on European assets across 3,223 deals, down 38.8% compared to last year’s USD 638.9bn during the same period.
