BGF has made a significant minority investment in London Middlesex-based Revital, a multi-channel retailer of supplements, beauty and wellness products.

Resonance has made its first “permanent capital” investment into Hollywell Housing Trust, a social landlord housing vulnerable people in the South West. The investment of £40,000 comes from the Health & Wellbeing Challenge Fund (H&WCF), an impact investment fund established with investment from the Growth Fund and South West Academic Health Science Network (SWAHSN). 

Yoti, a UK based digital identity platform, has raised £8m of equity investment from existing angel investors and two of the company’s three founders, Robin Tombs and Noel Hayden. This gives the company an enterprise valuation of £65m. Yoti will use these funds to grow its consumer network, with an aim of reaching 2 million users during 2018.

Sofant, an Edinburgh based developer of smart antenna technology company, has closed an undisclosed investment round. The investment round was backed by Newable Private Investing including Newable Ventures SEIS/EIS fund. Other investors in the round included Kelvin Capital, Old College Capital and Scottish Investment Bank.

Magpie Education, a firm that aims to inspire students in STEM subjects, through its engaging, cost-effective, AI driven resource tool, has secured seed investment from the British Robotics Seed Fund (BRSF).
